OCWA Runs Successful "I Don't Flush" Campaign
As we wrap up the latest phase of our I Don't Flush public education campaign, we're excited that more people than ever know how to protect their pipes by being careful what they put down the drain.
Run in conjunction with the Clean Water Foundation, the 2017 I Don't Flush campaign educated the public on proper disposal of fats, oils and grease aka FOG.
Previous campaigns focused on unused pharmaceuticals and personal hygiene products.
You may have seen the campaign featured on television, with our spokespeople appearing on shows including Breakfast Television (Toronto), CTV News Barrie and Global TV's The Morning Show. And if you get CHCH-TV Hamilton, look out for our PSA, which will continue running throughout 2018!
Thanks to our FOG campaign municipal partners: Town of LaSalle, York Region, Niagara Region, City of Barrie and Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.
