#INWED18 News: April
59 days to go until #INWED18
With less than two months to go until the big day, we welcome you to the fourth #INWED18 newsletter

We are delighted to announce that once again this year, we have been granted UNESCO Patronage for #INWED18!
UNESCO is an organisation for peace and its duty remains to reaffirm the humanist missions of education, science and culture. As part of this UNESCO has an Engineering Initiative that was created to promote engineering education at secondary and tertiary levels and to highlight the roles and accomplishments of women and youth in the engineering field. In line with this they see the value in replicating this plan in a successful and global campaign such as INWED.  Their support is invaluable and we are grateful for their recognition of this international awareness campaign.

Since last month we have had an influx of interest to our website from over 118 countries! This year we want to surpass expectations and aim even higher, so please make sure to tell us about any events that you have planned by completing our event notification form Why not tell your friends, colleagues and contacts internationally about INWED, so that they too can celebrate the achievements of women in this industry?

Applications for  the  Top 50 Women in Engineering: Returners and Transferrers  close in just 6 days - make sure that you apply or nominate by 30 April.  We wish you all the very best of luck.
