Meet Gina Foster, Cheshire's New Office Manager
When you first meet Gina Foster, you're struck by her warm smile, her sense of humor and her air of calm confidence. Gina's a Rochester native with four children and four grandchildren, and she's just taken over as Office Manager at Cheshire Audio Visual.
Gina comes to us with more than 20 years of experience in diverse areas of Financial and Office Management. For the past 18 of those years, she has enjoyed working with
Paley Studios. We were fortunate that when CPA Ken Dell learned the great sculptor had plans to "cut back" on working, he referred Gina to us.
"I look forward to organizing office functions and putting new procedures into accounting, so we'll have stronger long-term prognostication abilities
," Gina shared.
"With more streamlined processes, everyone's attention can be where it should be...on their individual projects and clients, and not on the day-to-day financial and office operations."
I'm so happy to be here," Gina confided. "Everyone has made me feel incredibly welcome, and it's great to be part of this team."
And we're just as delighted that
Gina has agreed to join us!

Celebrating Valued Team Members' Work Anniversaries
Any company is only as strong as its employees, and at Cheshire, we are fortunate to have, without exception, a great, dedicated team of professionals working with us.
So it gives us tremendous pleasure to congratulate the following employees on their work anniversaries. We recognize that they give their all, every day, to ensure both Cheshire's and our clients' success and peace of mind.
Jesse Newcomb, CTS - Celebrating 15 Years
It doesn't seem possible that Jesse Newcomb began his career with Cheshire 15 years ago. As Cheshire's Account/Production Manager for Exhibits, Jesse's commitment to his clients and to customer service is legendary.
"I enjoy doing whatever is needed to solve any problem that might crop up, and to be a value-added member of each client's team."
~ Jesse Newcomb
Chuck Aeckerle is Cheshire's Account/Production Manager
for Corporate Meetings and Events. It's hard to imagine Cheshire without Chuck's infectious smile and can-do attitude over the past 9 years.
"I think it's important to really listen to our customers' needs and goals. Through listening, we can identify the best way to use our skills to make their vision happen."
~Chuck Aeckerle
Ben Allen - Celebrating 2 Years
Ben Allen has been part of the Cheshire Team as Technology Specialist for the past 2 years...giving dedicated, full-spectrum service to every client from the moment they sign, until the event is over.
"My goal...is to execute the client's vision, and then try to
exceed
their expectations.
There's nothing as fulfilling as when a client, or that client's senior management, walks into a room and is completely blown away by the results."
~ Ben Allen

Partnering with Mirror Show for Ortho Clinical at AACC
AACC is a huge trade show, so it was important to have strong and impactful branding and messaging across the entire exhibit space of the show floor.
In addition to handling lighting and sound, Cheshire installed a videowall consisting of sixteen NEC 46" displays, and two
46" Elo
PCAP Touch displays, the content of which was powered by the Barco
E2
Switcher. We also used the E2 Switcher to control all monitors in the booth, in order to create a major "reveal" at the opening of the show, in which R2 Spot Fixtures helped maximize the excitement factor through a light show.
In the video display area, we mounted a 3 Meter Fog Screen to the front of our 12' x 12' truss structure, creating a prominent display that was powered by a Christie Roadster HD 14000 Lumen Projector, ensuring the entire display would receive maximum attention from anywhere on the trade show floor. A Sharp 70" HD LCD/LED Monitor was instrumental in assisting with speaker presentations. Additionally, we used 2 units of a relatively new and innovative technology called Hypervision, to create an eye-catching hologram effect.
For more information on how you might incorporate some of these technologies into your booth or trade show, please give us a call.

Exhibitor Tips and Best Practices for Trade Shows
Heading out to exhibit at a trade show? Check out these tips and best practices to make sure your team is
expo-ready! And if you host a trade show, feel free to share this document with your exhibitors.
1. Set Goals for your participation - What do you hope to get out of it? Do you want to raise awareness and build your brand? Increase your mailing list? Find new clients? Demo or show off a new product or new equipment? Get registrations or build an audience for the next season? All of these are relevant goals, but only you and your team can decide which are most important. Your goals will help you determine the best way to exhibit and how to measure your success. The right strategies can set you up to win!
2. Determine the best way to reach your goals - What should your exhibit/table look like to best represent your business? How should your employees dress to reflect your brand? How will you make it interactive and/or attention-getting? Who from your staff should attend to ensure you achieve your goals? What collateral materials and how many pieces will you need? Do you want to provide some type of giveaway with your logo and contact info? Do you want to distribute a coupon with a value-added or discount offer so you can more easily track results? Determine how will you measure your success, in advance.

Rochester Challenger Miracle Field: No Boundaries, Only Possibilities!
The dream of
Rochester Challenger Miracle Field started with Ron Kampff, a Dad who loves baseball. When he discovered there are over 400 athletes playing challenger baseball, he set out to create a safe and enriching environment...
a Challenger Miracle Field...where children and adults with developmental, physical and emotional disabilities could enjoy the same health benefits and joys of athletic participation as those without disabilities.
Through his efforts, and the generosity of many individuals and organizations within the community, the Challenger Miracle Field is becoming a reality.
Our Carly and her friends held a bake sale earlier this summer, and raised $700 to benefit the Miracle Field, which Cheshire matched to move this wonderful initiative forward and help complete the build-out of this important community resource.
