Bench Bar Pro Bono Award Nominations

The Bench Bar Pro Bono Awards Committee is accepting nominations for the 2019 Bench Bar Pro Bono Awards. The deadline to submit nominations is 5:00 p.m. this Friday, March 22. Habitat Funding -- Only $10,471 to Go!

The HBA wants to continue its tradition of building homes for Houston families in need through Habitat for Humanity. We need your help! A house cannot be built until we reach our $75,000 goal. Contribute today to the Houston Bar Association Campaign at houstonhabitat.org/give/donate -- check the "Houston Bar Association" box .

HAY Center Committee Needs Donations

for Prom Event

Help the HBA HAY Center Committee make prom magical for a local foster teen by dropping off your donated items at the HAY Center reception desk no later than Monday, March 25.

The need is currently greatest for new perfume & cologne, evening bags, men's dress belts and socks (all sizes, dark colors, new socks only), and gift cards to Ross, TJMaxx, Marshalls and chain restaurants with Houston locations ($25). Click here for more.

Help HBA Feed Houston's Hungry This April

The HBA's Food from the Bar Service Day is April 6 from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the Houston Food Bank Portwall Warehouse. Everyone age 6 and up is welcome! Click here to sign up as a volunteer.

The Special Olympics Texas Area 4 Tennis Tournament is Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Homer Ford Tennis Center. Click here to sign up as a volunteer at the event during either the 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 12:30 - 5:00 p.m. shift.
