Cindy L. Farley, PhD, associate professor in the School of Nursing & Health Studies, will study midwifery care in the United Kingdom through a University of Oxford residency program sponsored by Georgetown's Office of the President and coordinated by the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement.

In a special ceremony celebrating the last graduating class of the master's-level Nurse Anesthesia Program, the School of Nursing & Health Studies also honored the program's founding director.

In addition to its physical and cognitive benefits, the Movement for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) program has helped participants bond over their shared experiences.

DNA testing kits have become popular holiday gifts but there are a few things to consider before using one, said Beth Peshkin, MS, LCGC, director of cancer genetic counseling at Georgetown Lombardi and professor of oncology at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
