A Message from ORES Principal Denise Francisco
Tomorrow, Monday is Pajama Day at Oak Ridge to celebrate the amazing results of the American Red Cross Blood Drive! Oak Ridge Elementary did an outstanding job supporting the American Red Cross through the Blood Drive this past week. This was the vision and effort of our Student Council. We collected 79 pints of blood. Each pint saves 3 lives and Oak Ridge saved 237 lives through this amazing blood drive! We thank everyone who gave blood and helped make this event super special for the entire community!

We kick off the Book Fair on Monday and look forward to the excitement that this brings! Please see the information below for all the activities this week in our Media Center! Also, this week we look forward to every family coming to Student Led Conference Night on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00. Everyone will enter through the gym door and be able to view the Summer Camp Expo that will be set up in that area. You can then travel to your child’s classroom where he/she will showcase their learning to you in a Student Led Conference. Don’t forget to visit the specialist classrooms and any support staff that will be available to meet with you as well. And finally, please drop by the Book Fair that will be open that night from 6:00-8:00. It will be a fabulous night for our entire school community!

We look forward to seeing everyone this week!
