VBCF is excited to announce that our
2019 State Advocacy Day will be held in partnership with the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN)'s
"Day at the Capitol" on January 21, 2019.
We will join with other cancer advocates to make our voices heard at the General Assembly. No
previous advocacy experience is needed. Your personal perspective and passion about ending breast cancer are all you need to help make a difference! VBCF will provide orientation and training in conjunction with ACS CAN.
Key legislative priorities this year will include: funding for cancer research, concerns about short-term health insurance plans, and improved prescription access.
