A MESSAGE FROM DR. LAMBERT
A huge THANK YOU to all the parents and students who helped Langley host the District XII Choral Assessment. It was a big job but everything went beautifully thanks to the efforts of the many student and parent volunteers. The adjudicators and the other choir directors were filled with praise for the entire event! Special thanks goes to the coordinators, Lisa Medici and TJ Marzol, for their help in organizing, Sydnee Calderwood for the hospitality, all those who donated items for the concessions, and to the Madrigals and other students who helped with the clean-up.
Congratulations also to all the Langley Choirs for their performances at the District XII Choral Assessment! Each choir performed even better than they had at the Pre-Assessment Concert. All four Langley choirs received overall I-Superior ratings on their stage performances. Those scores combined with a score for sight reading resulted in overall I ratings for Treble/Select, Madrigals, and Concert Choir, and an over all II-Excellent rating for Chamber. Go Saxons!
