College Prep Meeting

Kindergarten Parents:
The graduation fee of $25.00 will be billed on your April statement. In order to participate in the Kindergarten graduation ceremony, your tuition balance must be paid in full by May 10

Homework/Book Requests: If your student is absent and you need to request homework, you must call the office by 12 noon to request it.
It will be available for pickup from
2-3:30 pm. Please do not contact the teacher concerning homework/book request.

The Family Church is hosting their one-day Women’s Conference on Saturday, March 30th. We are adding a special night this year just for the girls!
All High School and College aged girls are invited to attend on Friday, March 29th from 6-9 pm with Special Guest Mo Isom.
The cost is only $25 per person and it includes entrance into the Saturday Conference as well. Register today at

Uniform Changes for 2019/20 School Year
Girls: Pre K-12 can wear skirts.
Boys and Girls may wear navy or white dry-fit shirts (purchased from uniform store only).
Boys may begin wearing white knit shirts.
Boys will no longer wear khaki patch on shirts. White patches go on navy shirts and navy patches go on white shirts. (Khaki patches will be grandfathered in for one school year).
A few coupons from uniform shops have gone home so we want you to know about these changes.

Spring Pictures Wednesday, March 20
Students wanting to take a spring picture should dress accordingly to the picture day guidelines below.
On picture day, we will photograph various poses of your child for
ONLINE ORDERING
only. After picture day, you will receive an email with a personalized link to your child’s images only. Once you have viewed your images online, you will be able to select your favorites and place your order. Those ordered will be shipped directly to the shipping address that you specify.
Please make sure when dressing your student for picture day that you avoid wearing green.
There are no retakes for Spring Pictures.
Spring Picture Day Guidelines
(must avoid the color green)
Boys
- Long pants and jeans are acceptable- no holes above the knee. Pants must fit properly.
No tank top shirts. Only shorts allowed are uniform shorts.
Girls
- Long pants and jeans are acceptable- no holes above the knee. Pants must fit properly. No leggings unless its underneath a school length skirt or dress.
Dresses or skirt lengths must be 4” above the knee or longer.
No tank tops or spaghetti straps.
The only shorts allowed are uniform shorts.
Please consider your child’s recess and P.E. time when choosing footwear.
Administration reserves the right to send students home for inappropriate clothing.

ART SHOW: In tandem with Audience of 1 production of OSCAR, the LCA ART Department will be showcasing their class’ best artwork. Artwork will be displayed in the back of the production for all shows and the artists will be at the final showing March 23
rd from 6:30 pm- 15 minutes after the last curtain call. Come support the LCA Art program as well as
LCA’s Audience of 1 for a KNIGHT AT THE ARTS!

SGA Elections for the school year 2019-2020
All eighth grade through eleventh grade students currently attending Lafayette Christian Academy and registered for the following year are eligible to apply to run for student government representative.
Additional qualifying information will be included in the Application Packet.
Application Packets will be available on March 25th from Mrs. Messa.
Applications due on April 3rd by 8:30 am and turned in to Mrs. Messa.
Students qualifying and approved to run as representative will be notified by April 5th.
Campaigning on April 8th and 9th.
Elections will be held on Wednesday, April 10th.
