Planning for the New Civic Center
This year, the Rancho Cordova City Council has been discussing bringing a civic center to Rancho Cordova - something residents have said they want. As a result of early discussions, we now know that the new Civic Center will be located at a City-owned property adjacent to Folsom Lake College/ Rancho Cordova Center.
Now that a location has been determined, the goal is to create a vision for what the Civic Center experience and actual building(s) would look like - something that will be determined through discussions with staff, residents and key community partners.
The City will hold several City Council Work Sessions throughout the planning process, and we're inviting our community to attend to help us decide the vision and programming for our new civic center.
