Meet our President Elect
Happy New Year! 
I am excited to be serving as your President Elect for this year. January is always a great time to reflect where we have been and set new visions and plans for the New Year. With the Las Vegas Winter Market around the corner, I just want to bring your attention to a few events that we will be participating in.

We are looking forward to all members joining us at our ASID's New Year's Launch Party and Brunch at ZUO on Sunday, January 27th at 11 AM. Zuo's Showroom is in Building A-442. 
Our new Chapter Board of Directors will be there and we are excited to meet everyone in person.

It is my privilege to once again conduct the Las Vegas Market Student Tour Tuesday, January 29th at 9:30 a.m..  (Details below)

Students will learn how designers shop and benefit from market. Last year was a huge success and the student feed back was fantastic. The participants felt like they learned and benefited so much for having attended. Participants will also be able to attend the Design Icon Retrospect Event. 

Students, this is an opportunity that you do not want to miss!

We have so many great events planned for the year and look forward to our chapter growing. Our desire is to make sure that everyone feels welcome and engaged as a member. I look forward to seeing and meeting all of you.

2019 ANDYZ Awards 
Now Open for Submissions


The  ANDYZ Awards  celebrate the year's best Interior Design.
Interior Designers, Architects, and Design Students with projects based in the western regions of the United States are encouraged to submit their best work.  The winners are announced during a celebration at Las Vegas Summer Market.

Notice of Upcoming Chapter Election

2019 CHAPTER ELECTION NOTICE


The Chapter's Annual Board Member Election will be taking place this month.   The election is held on-line, through a secure voting site. 

Only Professional, Allied, and Industry Partner Members in good standing as of October 1, 2018, are eligible to vote.

Voting instructions will be sent to eligible voters  via e-mail (or snail mail to those who do not have a current e-mail address) when the election opens on January 15th.

Meet other designers and our students for a terrific  collaborative  opportunity.

Discover what Las Vegas Market is all about!
Join us on Tuesday, January 29th at Las Vegas Market to learn the Ins and Outs of attending the biggest Furniture Show in the West! There will be a Brunch and Learn session, followed by a guided tour of Las Vegas Winter Market, with Jamie Stringham, ASID. 

Brunch in Kitchen and Bath Resource Center, Bldg A- 110.

All students must meet promptly at 9:30 AM in the Market Registration Tent
Students will be provided with their entrance badges and guided to the venue.
After brunch, we will tour some of the Showrooms at Market. The tour will culminate at the Design Icon Retrospect event with Roger Thomas, Timothy Corrigan, Larry Laslow, and Christopher Guy Harrison as special guests.

Please RSVP before January 22nd (required for Entry badge to Market and Lunch).

California Central / Nevada Chapter is one of the top 10 participating chapters.
97% of our Chapter Fundraising Goal was met.
