Our men and women's swim and dive team competed in regionals this weekend.  Many of them placed in the top 10 in individual events as well as breaking a new school recording in the 200 medley for the boys.

Our speech & forensics team competed at KHSSL regionals on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 and placed 1st and qualified for State.

Washington Youth Tour 
 
Every year, Owen Electric offers high school juniors a FREE opportunity to visit Washington, D.C. and learn about our country's history.  

The Washington Youth Tour is an annual week- long event in June during which 1,000 high school juniors from across the country travel to Washington D.C. to learn more about government, cooperatives, and electrification.  This year's trip will be June 14th-21st.

During the Washington Youth Tour, delegates will have the opportunity to meet youth from across the country, interact with cooperative and government officials, and visit historic landmarks.  

The application process is open to any high school junior, who primary residence is in Owen Electric's service territory.  

Applications are due February 15th of the student's junior year of high school.
