It is with deep sadness that the Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce Executive must relay the very sad news that the President and CEO of the Chamber, Richard Halliday passed away on Saturday May 5, 2018 at his cottage in the Lake of the Woods Area.
 
Richard is survived by his wife Helen and sons Austin and Douglas.  Again our thoughts and prayers are with the family and we hope all members and supporters of the Chamber will join us in offering support to Helen, Austin, Douglas and Richard's friends and family.

Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce 88th AGM

The Annual meeting of the Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce members along with the approval of the Board of Director for 2018 - 19, was held on Thursday May 17, 2018 at the Holiday Inn Airport West.

The Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce has been successful in receiving a summer student grant to employ a student to further our chamber network. Throughout  the summer the student will work to visit businesses in our service territory so we can understand better our community. 

Thanks to Steve Chipman for providing transportation for our student.
