LIFE AT VMS: Caring for Our Community
by Ann Clark, Head of School
Dear parents,

Family and school life has drastically changed during the past seven months. The pandemic has created many uncertainties and added additional stress to the lives of many, including children. Here at VMS, we recognize it is important now more than ever to stay connected and offer support to our VMS families. Together, let’s be creative, share real conversations, and prioritize strengthening our connections! The Child Mind Institute is a valuable resource.
I encourage you to take a moment to read the article, “Will my Child Bounce Back from the Coronavirus Crisis?

VMS events have always been opportunities to create and strengthen relationships within our community. As we prepare for a very different UN / World Cultures Day this year, we will continue our tradition of celebrating our community and honoring its diversity. We are working behind the scenes to produce an exciting video of our students. In addition, we will share recipes from around the world in our first VMS Cookbook. Please submit your favorite family recipes to Events@ValleyMontessoriSchool.com. See the template of requested information in the section that follows.

We value every child and family at VMS and are thankful to be on this journey together.

Kind Regards,
Ann
