Information Sessions, Campus Tours Slated
Learn about all RVCC has to offer by attending an Information Session in March at the College's Branchburg campus. General Information Sessions and campus tours are scheduled for March 9, 10-11 a.m. (Conference Center, Room 101); March 15, 4-6 p.m. (Atrium, College Center, lower level); and March 23, 10-11 a.m. (Conference Center, Room 102).
Special Information Sessions for Adults who are considering returning to college or have never attended college will be held March 10, at 9, 9:45, and 10:30 a.m. (Conference Center, Room 101); March 16, 12:15-12:45 p.m. and 1:15-1:45 p.m. (Conference Center, Room 101); and March 26, 3:30-4:30 p.m. (Conference Center, Room 101).

Honors College Information Session Planned
Local high school seniors interested in learning more about RVCC's Honors College are invited to attend an Information Session, April 11, at 6 p.m., in the College's Atrium.
The evening will include information about admission to the Honors College and transfer opportunities after graduating from RVCC. Students in the top 20 percent of their high school class who possess a GPA of 3.5 or higher,
or have a cumulative SAT score of 1100 or higher, are encouraged to attend.

Alumni to Perform in Concert Celebrating 10 Years of Dance Program
The Visual and Performing Arts Department will present an Alumni Dance Concert, March 24, at 8 p.m., in RVCC's Nash Theatre celebrating of 10 years of the Associate of Fine Arts in Dance degree program at RVCC.

Book Talk on Letters from Troops Slated
RVCC's Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies and Warren County Community College's World War II and Holocaust Research Center will present "A Conversation with Andrew Carroll: Eyewitness Accounts of the Holocaust from the Letters of American Troops," April 25, at 3 p.m. The event, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the Conference Center at RVCC's Branchburg campus.

NORWESCAP Awards Legacy Grant to Support Students in Need
NORWESCAP has awarded the RVCC Foundation a $34,000 grant to establish the NORWESCAP Legacy Fund. The fund will provide emergency support for students enrolled at RVCC and help to defray the cost of rent, food, car repairs, child care, or other basic needs. A student may receive a maximum of $500 a year.

RVCC Participates in National Career Training Signing Day Event
Prospective students joined with current RVCC students pursuing career training programs in Automotive Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Cosmetology, Esthetics, HVAC, and Commercial Energy Management Technology in a National Signing Day event on February 15 at the College's Workforce Training Center. RVCC joined 40 different schools in this national event, during which students declared their intent to pursue one of the career programs at RVCC and current students pledged to complete their programs.

RVCC Signs Transfer Agreements with French Business School, Drew University
In keeping with its commitment to provide students with opportunities to continue their higher education, RVCC has signed two new transfer agreements.

Foundation Selling Raffle Tickets to Benefit Scholarship Fund
The RVCC Foundation is selling raffle tickets to raise funds for scholarships for students attending Raritan Valley Community College. The person holding the winning raffle ticket may choose from four different trips: 1) cruising around Alaska; 2) sightseeing in Monte Carlo, Monaco; 3) golfing in Palm Springs, California; or 4) wine tasting in Sonoma, California.
Each travel package is for two people to enjoy and includes airfare. Tickets cost $100 each, and only 300 tickets will be sold.

RVCC Administrator to be Honored by United Way
Ronnie Weyl of the RVCC Foundation will be presented with the 2018 Women in Philanthropy Award by United Way Women UnitedĀ® at its "Rise and Shine Breakfast," April 13, 8-10:15 a.m., at the Bridgewater Marriott. Weyl worked in partnership with United Way to establish the ALICE scholarship fund at RVCC to help students from ALICEĀ® (Asset Limited Income Constrained, Employed) households overcome financial obstacles in order to complete their education at RVCC.
