Pediatric Specialists of America Announces New President 
Michael Davis, MPH, MBA, has been named President of Pediatric Specialists of America (PSA), Miami based Nicklaus Children's Health System's physician group practice. Mr. Davis has been with Nicklaus Children's Health System for nearly a decade having served in various leadership roles including Senior Vice President of Strategy, Business Development & Innovation as well as Vice President of Service Lines and Director of Professional Services. He has served as interim President for PSA for the last 10 months, overseeing day-to-day and financial operations, as well as business strategy. During his tenure with the health system, Mr. Davis has contributed to the development and execution of a "service line" framework and methodology, has provided oversight of the health system's annual operating calendars and strategic plans as well as the development of a partnership with Brigham & Women's Hospital for a fetal care program.

"Michael's wealth of experience in healthcare management has been invaluable in guiding our ever-growing pediatric subspecialty group practice. South Florida Healthcare Executive Forum Installs 2019 Board
The South Florida Healthcare Executive Forum (SFHEF), based in Dania Beach, installed its 2019 Board of Directors on January 23rd during their annual Installation Dinner held at the Signature Grand Davie. Over 200 healthcare professionals were in attendance. Community Service Award Honoree  Jerry Fedele, President and CEO of Boca Raton Regional Hospital, delivered Opening Remarks.
 
The SFHEF serves healthcare professionals in Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties plus the Treasure Coast. The SFHEF is the local chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and currently boasts over 950 members.

Boca Regional Welcomes Acclaimed Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopist
Boca Raton Regional Hospital recently announced the appointment of David G. Forcione, MD, to its medical staff as Medical Director of Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy, joining Dr. Stephen Steinberg as a member of The Center for Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy (CATE) and BocaCare Physician Network. Dr. Forcione is a nationally known expert who specializes in interventional endoscopy, including disorders of the pancreas and bile ducts, early gastrointestinal malignancies (Barrett's esophagus and complex colon polyps), and minimally invasive endoscopic therapies. He has a special interest in new device and technology implementation. Dr. Forcione most recently served as the acting head of Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy at the Massachusetts General Hospital where he has been since 1998.
