Lakeview School and ProjectKIND
S hare Acts of Caring and Kindness

We have been SACK'd by Rhett and Raina Ellison of the New York Giants!

Watch here à Challenge

Lakeview has accepted the challenge!

Watch here à Acceptance

Our Lakeview family is participating in a service learning project in partnership with ProjectKIND! ProjectKIND and the Ellison's have challenged us to "Pack a SACK".

ProjectKIND creates opportunities and builds support systems for those experiencing homelessness. They believe in strengthening our community through kindness and helping those who are in need to achieve their goals. ProjectKIND provides supports such as food, needed items and assistance that allow those experiencing homelessness to focus on their strengths and overcome their challenges.

We will be hosting a Read-a-Thon from February 4 -15, 2019. Then we will be inviting families and community members to join us in filling SACKS. The SACKS will be filled with: Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Hairbrush, Gum or Mints, Hand Sanitizer, Tissues, Deodorant, Socks, Gloves, Hat, Hand Warmers, and more. The students will be earning the "purchase" of these items through the monies earned.

The pledge form and information is included in the Friday folders.
We again want to thank our Lakeview families for their continued support in helping our Lakeview Lion ROAR with P.R.I.D.E.!
