JANUARY 2019 NEWSLETTER
A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Greetings, Austin FPA Members!

We are so glad you are a part of our chapter. Our theme for the year is: Engaging Excellence for our Members. Our Board plans to filter decisions and events through this lens. If you have input or thoughts, always feel free to reach out to us. You will find our contact information listed on the website at www.austinfpa.org .

As you may know, there are several major changes proposed on the national level for FPA. In short, the ideas on the table are to bring each chapter under the one legal entity of FPA and to centralize functions such as accounting, technology, government and staff. How local chapters operate in regard to day-to-day decision making should remain similar. You can participate in the discussion directly by registering for a Virtual Listening Tour for FPA members either on February 5, 2019 or February 7, 2019 .

Thank you again for being great and making us great. We look forward to a successful year together.

Best,
Daphne Jordan, CFP®
