You are reporting on nectar plants at
192 sites
so far this year, up from 175 sites at the time of our last message. We have 39 Local Phenology Programs (LPPs) participating in this campaign, and some of their observation numbers are quite impressive! Right now, the top-contributing LPPs are
Mohonk Preserve, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden Education, Vassar College, Wildlife District 4,
and the
Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge.
Great work!
We also have
133 backyard observers
contributing to this campaign. Thank you for your efforts!
The map below shows sites where observers have reported a "yes" for open flowers for commonly observed Nectar Connectors species. Colors of sites correspond to the species listed across the top; sites with reports of more than one species are indicated with green outlines.
