Concussion News from the University of Michigan

The Michigan Concussion Center is in the beginning stages of an expanded partnership with University of Michigan Athletics. This collaboration brings many benefits, including the standardization of U-M's concussion protocol in all varsity sports and the annual collection of baseline testing data. This data can benefit concussion research not only for U-M student-athletes, but also athletes everywhere.

Dr. Fred Korley focuses his research on improving the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injuries (TBI). He is the co-inventor of a panel of biomarkers that can aid in diagnosing acute TBI.
