The premiere episode for season 13 of
Ancient Aliens was a ground breaking program coming at a particularly auspicious time. It was a tour de force as regards the seven decade truth embargo on government held information about an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.
In shifting chronological order the program addressed the following issues:
- The events in and around Roswell, NM in July of 1947.
- The early days of the truth embargo and government machinations.
It is significant the former adviser and chief of staff to President Bill Clinton, founder of the Center for American Progress, adviser to President Barack Obama and co-chair of Secretary Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign - John Podesta - agreed to interview for the program.
One outcome from Podesta's interview was notable. For the first time a member of the Clinton political team acknowledged the Rockefeller Initiative 25 years after Clinton's science adviser Dr. John Gibbons received the written request from Laurance Rockefeller to meet with the President.
There was in this two-hour program enough substantive information to write a hundred investigative stories for America's top newspapers and fill a dozen congressional hearings. Were it not for the unprecedented political chaos swirling over the nation, such an outcome could already be underway.
For now it is clear attitudes toward the truth embargo are changing within the Pentagon and the CIA as well as editorial and production offices of mainstream news and entertainment organizations.
Note:
Alien Con 2018 that is produced by A&E Networks and built around the
Ancient Aliens series will be held in the Pasadena Convention Center June 15-17, 2018. Between 10 and 20 thousand attendees are expected. PRG executive director Stephen Bassett will participate.
