THE 2018 DEVELOPMENT GRANTS
  
The Development Grant ballot is now live online.  Make sure that your club is represented in the voting for this year's Development Grants! Click below for the interactive ballot. The deadline for submitting your ballot is Saturday, March 24 at 12:00 noon CET. Each Club is entitled to ONE vote.  We request that the ballot be submitted by either the Club President or the FAWCO Rep.
 
 
 

QUEEN OF HEARTS RAFFLE

                             

The FAWCO Foundation greatly appreciates the generosity of FAWCO members who kindly donate their beautiful jewelry items for use in our high-end raffle.  This year, we have a spectacular pair of diamond and opal earrings that will make the lucky winner feel like the Queen of Hearts! 18K gold, 4 diamonds brilliant cut, total weight 0.10K, 2 opals oval cut, 2 opals teardrop cut. Estimated value is $1200. The drawing for this beautiful piece will take place March 24 at the Interim Meeting in The Hague.  You need not be present to win.

This year, we commemorate our time in The Netherlands with a classic "wooden shoe."  The charm comes in silver, in both a flat and 3D style.

We are also very pleased to introduce the new Target charm - a silver book representing everyone's right to an education.  With the word HOPE written in both English and Arabic, it is a fitting representation of the current Target project: Hope Beyond Displacement.

This is Alice's version of the traditional Lucky Dip. We are looking for donations of small, whimsical items, ranging in price from $4-$10, which are fun and will incite guests to pay $5 and take another dip!

G o to the Live Auction page where you can browse the catalog to choose an incredible destination for your next adventure or one of our unique specialty items. Then send an email, along with the lot number, the item title and your minimum and  maximum bids to:

As you pack your suitcase for The Hague, consider bringing along a special item for the Silent Auction.  Something small and easily packable is wonderful, however, size doesn't always matter!  Silent Auction donations can be anything from jewelry and scarves to photos, artwork, handcrafts or anything that would make you want to just Grin and Buy It!
 
Preregister your Silent Auction items before you leave home! Please follow the directions on the Silent Auction web page to fill out the form.  Of course, you may also bring your items to the conference and register them at the Silent Auction desk.   FRIENDSHIP QUILT
      
       "Butterfly Brigade"
 
Inspired by the Butterfly Warrior theme of the Mumbai conference, the 2018 quilt celebrates the Butterfly Warrior in all of us. This beautiful quilt will be auctioned off on the final day of the Interim Meeting .

Please visit the 2018 Quilt page to download and purchase your raffle tickets! Raffle tickets may be purchased with cash, by check or by wire transfer. Unfortunately, credit card and PayPal purchases are no longer possible.  
 
FAWCO Reps: If you are coming to The Hague, simply download the raffle tickets , sell them to your members, fill them out and bring both the tickets and the corresponding cash amount to the IM. You can  turn them in at The FAWCO Foundation table upon registration.
