Gov. Evers and legislative Republicans both support middle class tax cuts, but want to go about it in different ways. Which proposal do you support?
A. Evers: Fund tax relief by capping a corporate tax credit, 80% of which goes to filers making more than $1 million a year.
B. Republicans: Fund the cut using a state budget surplus of about $600 million.

Results from last week's poll question:
How concerned are you about the federal government shutdown?

Very concerned. There's no end in sight, and so many federal workers being furloughed or forced to work without pay is unacceptable.
45%
Moderately concerned. It's not good, but it won't really get real until our income tax refunds get delayed.
12%
Not concerned. Plenty of individuals are feeling temporary hardships but things will return to normal eventually.
