Public comment sought on Planning Draft FY 2019-20 Work Program
Long Range Work Program The public is invited to comment on the Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation  Long Range Planning Draft FY 2019-20 Work Program.
The work program identifies and ranks Long Range Planning staff's annual tasks including ordinances, projects and other transportation and community-planning activities. 
Submit comments by Feb. 21 in one of the following ways:

  • In person: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, Adams Crossing building, 161 NW Adams Ave., Hillsboro
All comments received by Feb. 21 will be provided to the Washington County Board of Commissioners prior to adoption of the final work program.

    • Beef Bend Road, between Roy Rogers Road and Myrtle Avenue, Feb. 4 through March 5 for Clean Water Services sewer installation.  Detour map
  • 143rd Avenue, from Melody Lane to house number 2000, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. weekdays intermittently Feb. 4 through April 30. 
  • 158th Avenue, between Walker Road and Merlo MAX Station, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays intermittently through Jan. 31 (extended for final "clean up" work).  Map
  • 175th Avenue/Kemmer Road intersection 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays intermittently through Jan. 31 (extended due to underground utility conflicts).  Map
  • Cedar Hills Boulevard/U.S. 26 eastbound off-ramp, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays; 7 a.m.-7 p.m. weekends intermittently through May 31.  Map
  • Thompson Road, between 114th Avenue and Knollview Drive, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. weekdays intermittently Feb. 4 through April 30. 
NOTE: This information is provided here as a courtesy only.  Neighborhood meetings are required before developers submit certain land use applications to the County (for areas outside cities). These meetings provide a forum for the developer, affected CPO (Community Participation Organization) and nearby property owners to discuss the proposal informally. County staff do not schedule or attend these meetings.
