Listen Up! Spring Is on Its Way
Wood frogs and spring peepers out and about
The next month heralds many early spring amphibians and a few reptiles here in New Hampshire. You'll find most of them gathering at vernal pools. The wood frog, pictured, with its distinctive "mask" hangs out at a vernal pool for just a few days and then quickly returns to its woodland haunts.
Stories About This Place will be held at the Marlborough House on Saturday, April 14, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. You can again expect six wonderful people sharing their passions for the region and for the outdoors.
