FIVE GUYS RESTAURANT NIGHT FUNDRAISER - TUES NOV 13

  Restaurant Night: Tuesday, November 13th at Five Guys, 255 S. Main Street, Newtown.   
 
Have a fun dinner out, feed the family and help support the Middle Gate School PTA! A win for everyone! A portion of your dinner sales will go to support PTA programs.
TURKEY TROT - TUES NOV 13

The Middle Gate Turkey Trot will be held on Tuesday, November 13 (rain date is Thursday, November 15).  This cross-country fun run around the school property will demonstrate citizenship and responsibility as we collect food donations for Newtown families.  A can of food is the entrance fee for our Middle Gate runners.  All food items should be brought to your child's classroom teacher on the morning of the event.  Food will be donated to WIN (Women in Newtown) to help fill Thanksgiving baskets for families in town.  Parents are welcome to join the fun.  C
lasses will run at the following times:
 
2:00-2:30:  K-LaBonia, K-Massett, 1-Pierce, 1-Carpionato, 2-Knapek, 2-Carriero, 4-Beauty, 4-Eleoff, 4-Turey, 4-Baron
2:45-3:10:  K-Parniawski, K-Schmidt, 1-Martinetto, 1-Salvatore, 2-Phillips, 2-Regensburger, 3-Cologna, 3-Connors, 3-Calo, 3-DeSisto
SQUARE 1 ART ORDER FORMS DUE NOV 19 
Square One Fundraiser: 

Children who submitted artwork for the Square1 Art fundraiser should have come home on Friday with their ordering information and free sticker gift.
 
Orders are due by Monday, November 19th.

PICTURE RETAKE DAY - THUR NOV 15 
Picture Re-Take Day: Thursday Nov 15
If you missed picture day, or you are not satisfied with the pictures taken on Sept 25 you can have your child's photo taken again.

Picture Re-Take Day is also for Groups/Clubs/Scouts:
Also, if your child is in any groups such as scouts, school clubs, etc this will be the group picture day. They should bring a scout uniform for this day if possible.

HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE - MON DEC 3 & MON DEC 10

Holiday Boutique Coming Soon!:

The Holiday Boutique is a shopping event for the kids during the school day so they can buy gifts for family and friends! Items range from $1-$5 with the majority under $2.

Due to limited classroom space this year the Boutique will only be open on:
 
Monday, December 3rd and Monday, December 10th.

As soon as we know the teacher schedule it will be posted. We need a lot of parent volunteers these days and the Friday afternoon/early evening before each Boutique day to setup. Please keep an eye out for these sign ups. This is fun and festive event for the kids and we look forward to continuing the tradition this year!

How to submit something for the Middle Gate Minute:

Do you want to advertise a MG event or program or are you looking for volunteers for a MG event or program? Then send us your information for submission in the Middle Gate Minute. The Middle Gate Minute is a Bi-Weekly publication. Please include a 1-3 sentence description and contact information for all submissions. If you want to attach a flyer or other document, it is best to send as .doc or .pdf

MG Weekly editor reserves the right to edit all submissions. All submissions due the Thursday before the next newsletter publication date.
