The Hawk Weekly is an electronic newsletter that is emailed to parents that highlights important dates, events, and current news. 

 

The cut-off time for information going into the Hawk Weekly will be Tuesdays at 12:00pm. 

 

Publication will be  Thursday.

Urgent Message from Step-Up for Students
Renewal Families for the 2019-2020 School Year
 
Renewal families for the income-based FTC Scholarship enrollment has opened for the 2019-2020 school year. 

Renewal families will  have priority  processing  until January 31, 2019.
   
You will lose your priority  status over new applicants if you reapply after February 1, 2019. If you have more than one child, you must apply for each child.
 
Should you lose your scholarship, you WILL be responsible for your tuition and fees for the 2019-20 school year.

Parents and students can receive community service hours by simply attending Mass, greeting guests, and helping to hand out brochures. Please contact Heidy Aviles for more information.

Ways You Can Help
Donate Auction Items - Do you have a vacation condo you can donate for a week? Can you donate a service by gift certificate? Do you have jewelry you don't wear? The list is infinite!
Attend the Event - A guaranteed great time!
Wall of Wine - Donate a bottle of wine for our wall. Please have an adult bring donation to front office.

Class Baskets/Service Hour Opportunity
Traditionally each class sponsors a basket for the silent auction. We know that everyone is very busy so we created an online registry at Amazon and Target for each class. Items will be mailed directly to the school.

Freshman Fix It Basket - tools, household "must haves"
Sophomore Go Outside and Play Basket -  outdoor games and fun
Junior Kitchen Krazy Basket - unique and must have kitchen gadgets
Senior Sports Spectator - all items needed to watch and enjoy sporting events

Yearbook News
Yearbook
Yearbooks can be preordered by clicking here or go to www.balfour.com  and search "Santa Fe Catholic."
  • Cost - $70 
  • Delivery in May
  • Have student's name engraved on the cover of the yearbook for a small fee.
Only 150 copies of the yearbook will be ordered and 81 have been purchased. Shop online now to make sure you will have a copy in May.
 
Seniors -

1. Seniors should have submitted their senior quote in November. We still have nearly 15 who have not. Please check with your senior to see if he/she submitted a quote or reply back to me ([email protected]) and I will let you know. 


 

2. All senior tributes/ads must be completed and paid for by Friday, February 1st. Thank you to those who have already submitted. Please click here to complete and pay for your senior's tribute/ad. Here, parents can add photos and text while creating a tribute/ad for their senior. Parents can also upload a tribute/ad they have had professionally made.  


 

3. Please make sure to send in your senior's baby photo (birth - 5 years old) to Mrs. Lopez. This picture will be in the yearbook and will be used for a special presentation at the end of the school year.

Scholarship Opportunities
Arts for life
Arts for Life! annually awards a one-time $1,000 scholarship to 25 graduating high school seniors who demonstrate excellence in creative writing, dance, drama, music or the visual arts. For more information on this scholarship, click here

Bartow Ford- Drive for Excellence  
Drive for Excellence advocates the importance of education among young adults, and rewards them with a chance to win a new Ford vehicle. The program is meant to broaden the educational perception of teenagers and inspire them to reach for all achievements.
