Diamond Properties focuses on the acquisition of commercial properties with potential for substantial improvement through hands-on property management, market re -positioning, and capital upgrades. In 2018, Diamond Properties acquired four properties across NY, CT, TN and OH, totaling 4,225,178 sf square feet.  Since its inception, Diamond Properties has acquired over 75 properties, including office, medical, industrial, retail, entertainment, self storage, residential, lodging, and land, in seven states, and currently own in excess of 60 of those properties, totaling over 11 million square feet. 
DIAMOND PROPERTIES MAKES ITS LARGEST ACQUISITION

Memphis Depot Industrial Park ("The Property"), a large-scale industrial park of 43 buildings spanning more than 4.2 million square feet. With an infill location less than one mile from Memphis International Airport, the country's top cargo airport, and less than five miles from Downtown.  "It's a very large portfolio in a market that we love, with a lot of long-term potential for value growth," Jim Diamond, Diamond Properties' CEO, told Commercial Property Executive. "We've always been excited about adaptive reuse projects, and the way that this former military base was successfully repurposed into industrial really resonated with us."

Industrial Arts Brewing has announced plans to open a second brewery, taproom, and event space at 511 Fishkill Ave in Beacon, New York. Slated to open to the public in Spring 2019, Industrial Arts will be the anchor tenant and co-owner of the 150,000 square foot facility overlooking Mount Beacon. Diamond Properties partnered on the purchase and is currently offering the remaining 73,400 square feet of warehouse for lease.


What to expect in 2019 from Diamond Properties
  • A growing lodging portfolio. Roundup Lake Campground acquired in November of 2018, is Diamond Properties third campground acquisition.  DP actively seeks to expand this part of the investment portfolio.  
  • Diamond Hospitality Group will open a 9th FEC in February 2019 with two additional properties to be announced soon.  Grand Prix Orange County,  slated to open in March 2019 in Newburgh, NY,   will be DHG's second go karting facility and will include a laser tag arena, escape rooms, and redemption arcade. 
  • Diamond Hospitality Group opened its fifth self storage facility in the NY/CT area, earlier this year.   Safe Haven Self Storage is a growing  chain of self storage facilities that offer secure and climate controlled units.   With over 2,000 storage units, Safe Haven Self Storage will quickly expand their portfolio with a sixth location coming soon.
