LMVSC |  For the BEST Club Parents in Virginia
As we gear up for an amazing Spring Season,
here are a few tips/reminders!

-Respect for the game, referees, players, spectators, & coaches should be the center piece
-Coaching from the sidelines does more harm than good "let the players play"

-Positive reflections and interactions with the players after a game are more beneficial to the players development.  Your children are intelligent; to spark their thinking and personal development here are some sample questions to engage your player after a game:

-Example Questions: "How do you think the game went?"
"Why do you think the game went that way?"
"That's a great observation, do you think anything could have been done differently?"
"How do you think you did?"

LMVSC |  For the BEST Recreational Coaches in Virginia

As we gear up for the Spring Season,
here are some helpful tips/reminders!

- As Coaches, we have one of the most important roles in a young childs life; we personally owe them a debt to give them everything we have
- The job of a Coach can be difficult, it can be frustrating, and it can certainly be stressful; when the thinking is switched from "why can't they do this" to "did you see them do that" the job becomes much easier and MUCH more rewarding
- Children respond more effectively from positive interaction, than negative

- It is important to give guidance, but not play the game for the players
- ONE voice should be coming from the sideline
- It is important to remember that there is a possibility you may be the best part of a child's day

LMVSC | SPOTLIGHT ON....
LMVSC Player Directors!

It is safe to say that we could not have the BEST Recreational League in the area without the dedication and support of our Player Directors.

The selflessness and often thankless job that these individuals participate in goes beyond any valid description that could be given in words.

It is our honor to shine the spotlight on your work and from everyone at LMVSC say very simply -
