January 23, 2019

The last free critical security patch release of Java 8 is now available. The next release, scheduled for April 2019, will require a support plan with Oracle. Next week's Java Break will highlight what this means to your BBj installations, the Oracle timelines, and your choices as a provider or user of BASIS-based technology. BBj system administrators will need to take action by April 2019 to ensure that their applications include the latest Java security updates and are strongly urged to attend this informative session.
