Transitions is proud to offer a wide variety of programs, including Mini Camps, summer sessions and a year-round curriculum, to support young adults who have learning differences and need support as they go to college, get their first jobs and live independently for the first time. Over the past three years, we have seen the curriculum at Transitions change the lives of dozens of young adults who experienced our programs. Our Apprentices are Dean's List college students, paid employees, professional performers, award-winning self-advocates and more.

There is so much more to come for these amazing young adults, and for all the students we will support in the coming years. Be sure to follow us on Facebook for all the latest news on their accomplishments!

In this email, you will find information on all the different ways to experience Transitions as well as updates on life in our programs. Thank you for choosing to join us on our journey toward helping young people live their dream lives.

Sincerely,
The Transitions Team

STUDENT CAREER SUCCESS SPOTLIGHT
Olivia is an aspiring singer and musical theater actress. She regularly works as a paid singer, entertaining the elderly in the region on a weekly basis. She also performs by invitation at other private and corporate events. An experienced actress and choreographer, she has lent her talents to many local theater productions, most recently "Angie and Frankie's Anniversary" at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts.

At the beginning of the year, Olivia visited White Lake Music & Post studio to record her demo CD. She was delighted to sing in a professional studio, and the staff at White Lake said they were "so thrilled to have her" there, too.

This demo CD will enhance Olivia's networking efforts and supplement her resume when she seeks out future employment opportunities, but most importantly, it represents a huge step forward in building her career. Olivia was so excited to finally achieve this important milestone, and we are so proud of her for doing so!
FUN SUMMER CAMPS!
In addition to the Summer Immersion Experience, Transitions also offers weeklong camps for young adults interested in exploring certain aspects of independent living more in-depth.

At these camps, students will not only receive instruction in skills that will serve them for the rest of their lives, they will also experience all the fun the Adirondacks can offer, with outdoor excursions and arts enrichment classes alike!

Students can attend camps just for the day or they can stay overnight in Transitions apartments.
