Deadline to enter roster on TrackWrestling for State Tournament Fast Approaching

February 15th is the deadline to enter your team's roster on TrackWrestling.  This allows teams to manage their roster, post schedules, distribute results to the media and provide a central repository for wrestling results across the country.

Results can be entered online or offline using any device (phone, tablet, PC, etc.). If you enter the results online, people can follow your team's progress live on the internet.

Dual meet data is shared so only one team needs to enter the results and both teams receive the benefits.  You can also can get customized statistics reports for your team.  If you need assistance you can contact Coach Doug Freeman at Heritage as he has graciously agreed to help in training on this great program.
Weigh In Guidelines

The Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) and Head Official, Randy Steen have outlined the guidelines for weigh ins for the 11th Annual AAA Sanctioned High School State Wrestling Tournament.  Weigh ins will be held from 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 22nd and from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 23rd.  The scales will be located on the Fisher Practice Court at UALR and will be available for people to check their weight up from 6:30 a.m. until 6: 50 a.m. on Friday as well as on Saturday.  At that time the officials will clear the weigh in area of all wrestlers and have them reenter as teams.  All wrestlers must weigh in as a team and once they enter the weigh in area they will not be able to leave the weigh in area or do any activity to try to lose weight in the weigh in area once the official weigh in starts.  Each wrestler will have two chances to step on the scale that they are weighing in on and if they don't make weight on that scale they will have one chance on any of the other scales that are in the weigh in area.  If they don't make weight after that then they will be disqualified from the tournament.

It is the coaches responsibility to have their wrestlers prepared for groom checks...fingernails cut so they are not sharp or long enough to cut, side burns cut above ear lobe, hair cut above eyes, must have appropriate hair cover, no bandanas.  Kids that wear braces will need to have a mouth guard to cover their braces.  If they have top and bottom braces, they will have to have top and bottom mouth guards.  All hair covers and mouth guards must be presented at weigh-ins.  Remember that hair covers must be attached to the headgear.

We need your help to spread the word about wrestling!

The number of people that have wrestled is between 6-8 million - these are potential fans.  We have to find them and lure them back to wrestling.

Wrestling has never been able to truly quantify for the national TV networks the true size and scope of our sport and its potential fan base....or even begin to document those "casual supporters"...

The National Registry is an effort to address all of the above issues if our sport will allow itself to be organized.

We are asking you to get behind the effort of finding and registering ONE Million Fans.  Sign up at National Registry 4 Wrestling! We need every Arkansas wrestler to sign up!
