ANNOUNCEMENTS
Great Nature and The Morning of Creation, the final two episodes of the six-part Ken Burns' documentary "The National Parks: America's Best Idea," will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, and 2 p.m. Sunday, January 28, respectively in Valders Hall of Science, Room 362.

OFF-CAMPUS STUDY APPLICATIONS READY!  Thinking of studying abroad or elsewhere in the U.S. during summer 2018, fall 2018, spring 2019 or the 2018-19 year? If so, you need to complete a Luther application by February or March, in some cases earlier. Fill out this form to request the appropriate  application and/or to talk about your plans!

Come join Brandt staff and everyone on campus this J-Term for a night of karaoke, mock-tails, and a load of fun! Located in Marty's on January 20, from 7pm-10pm, stay warm on a cold evening and have a groovy night at the same time! Sign up to perform at the tables by the caf!

The Offices of Financial Services, Financial Aid, Registrar and Human Resources will be closed on Friday, January 19, from 8:45 a.m. to 1:15 .p.m., for a staff workshop.

Celebrate the end of J-term and Hot Reads for Cold Nights at the Library's "Edible Books" Contest on Thursday, January 25 from 3-4 p.m. All are welcome to come enjoy treats, mingle with fellow book lovers, and vote for a winner. There will be prizes for first, second, and third place. If you'd like to create and submit an "edible book" for the contest, please email  [email protected]  for more information. Sponsored by the Library.

The Diversity Center's annual Ethnic Arts Festival is quickly approaching. The Ethnic Arts Festival is an exciting event aimed at educating everyone on a variety of cultures through food, fun and friendship. Participating in Ethnic Arts will be an incredible experience for everyone involved. If you are interested in volunteering, please stop by the Diversity Center to sign up or ask questions. Sign up sheets are at the front desk. 
 
The Diversity Center will have a Decorah Walmart shopping shuttle running from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20.  This is open to all students and there is no charge, but reservations are requested, please register here . Students should meet in front of the Union.
