Experiencing Discrimination?
Update: Legal Redress Office Hours!
Your branch is here to help. If you have experienced discrimination, the very best way to get started is to fill out a Discrimination Complaint . It will get us all the basic facts we need to determine whether we can help you directly or need to refer you to other resources.

Legal Redress has Office Hours from 11am-1pm on Thursdays at the Malcolm X Library; please email redress@sandiegonaacp.org for an appointment. Office Hours are a good way to get help filling out your complaint or to provide us information, but we can not give legal advice during office hours.

CAB Report Discussion
Mayor Kevin Faulconer reinstated the Citizen's Advisory Board on Police/Community Relations in response to the SDSU study that showed racial bias in SDPD Traffic Stops. After two years of work, the CAB released a set of recommendations. Those recommendations were ignored for seven months, and then largely dismissed by the SDPD. Careful analysis--or foregone conclusion?
