A feature documentary about the lessons, ethics and legacy of iconic children's television host, Fred Rogers. WON’T YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR? looks at children’s television host Mr. Rogers' hard-fought campaign to influence generations of kids and adults in the ways of kindness.

Fred Rogers led a singular life. He was a puppeteer. A minister. A musician. An educator. A father, a husband, and a neighbor. Fred Rogers spent 50 years on children’s television beseeching us to love and to allow ourselves to be loved. With television as his pulpit, he helped transform the very concept of childhood. He used puppets and play to explore the most complicated issues of the day—race, disability, equality and tragedy. He spoke directly to children and they responded by forging a lifelong bond with him—by the millions. And yet today his impact is unclear. WON’T YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR? explores the question of whether or not we have lived up to Fred's ideal. Are we all good neighbors?
Northampton MA-based, newgrass band Mamma's Marmalade returns to Hopewell Theater's stage this Saturday at 8 pm! Their fresh take on traditional American music transforms the conventional bluegrass experience into a raucus barnyard party that refuses to let you sit. Since their formation in 2014, the five piece string band has been fusing diverse musical backgrounds into a sound that bursts at the seams with energy, exuding a pure joy for creating music. Mamma’s honest lyrics and warm, acoustic tones invite listeners back to a time when wooden instruments and sweet vocal harmonies captivated the hearts of America. Experimenting with intricate instrumentals and lively covers, their music brings the genre to new and unexpected places.

Through this gripping story, DARK MONEY uncovers the shocking and vital truth of how American elections are bought and sold. This Sundance award-winning documentary is directed/produced by Kimberly Reed (PRODIGAL SONS) and produced by Katy Chevigny (E-TEAM).

From Stage To Screen:
La Traviata
From the thrill of unexpected romance to a heartbreaking reconciliation that comes too late – Verdi’s La traviata is one of the most popular of all operas. Alfredo falls in love in with the courtesan Violetta in glamorous Paris society, but underneath the surface run darker undercurrents, leading to a tragic ending. The opera’s wealth of melodies includes the famous Brindisi and the exuberant ‘Sempre libera’ – both showing the lyricism of Italian opera at its most immediately appealing. Richard Eyre’s production for The Royal Opera brings out all the emotional colour, from the giddy discovery of love, through painful confrontation to the inevitable conclusion. Lavish period sets and costumes enhance the reality of a moving story based on true life. Sung in Italian with English subtitles.  Wednesday, February 27 at 7 pm or Saturday, March 2 at 2:45 pm.

Jonny Collins is the man she least wants to see, but whose efforts to infiltrate her life seem unimpeded by locks or windows.
