Greetings from the Executive Director
Dear Friends,

Boston has been a very busy place this summer; and Boston College was exceptionally busy. The university community worked to prepare students, faculty, and staff for the resumption of classes. And it was through hard work and dedication that students returned to campus and classes started at the end of August. This year campus will not be what we remember, of course; but it is open and students are learning.

The same is true for the GLI. Although we will not hold in-person programing and events this Fall, our virtual programing continues to focus on the value of global connections and, even more so, the distinctive relationship Boston College has with Ireland and Europe. Once again, we have partnered with the Fulbright Commission to offer places for the Tech Impact Award in Cybersecurity. In addition, we explored US-Europe relations in a series of webinars.

Finally, we have launched our podcast, Global Crossings. This podcast will share stories from the GLI community about creating global presence and impact through trust, community, and dialogue. We’re just starting out. So please reach out with your ideas and suggestions. We’re eager to learn!

Best,
Bob
