We are very excited to let you know that we are hosting a presentation designed specifically for parents of children in 3rd through 8th grades entitled, "It's More Than 'Just Say No': Raising Resilient and Drug-Free Kids" on
Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Pleasantdale Middle School in the all-purpose room/cafeteria.
This informative session, presented by Rosecrance Health Network, guides parents in how to teach resiliency skills to your 3rd through 8th grader, better equipping your children to make good decisions now and later in life. We firmly believe that parents are the first line of defense in preventing their children from experimenting and using drugs. It is never too early to lay the foundation for a drug-free lifestyle. but any amount greater than $1.00 will be refunded to you by the end of June or if you so choose, you may donate your surplus funds to the District's Angel Fund - a fund that supports our most needy families. All families will receive an email at the end of May asking if you would like a refund or to donate your funds. In the meantime, if you will be adding funds to your student's account between now and the end of the school year, please calculate an estimate of how much your child will spend so that you are not adding too much to your child's account.
