A Note From Sally Sachar
Dear Congregants,
We want to extend our gratitude to everyone who participated in yesterday's MLK Jr. Day of Service, with a specific thank you to Melanie Berkowitz and Rachel Tzinberg for their enduring and dedicated leadership, and to all of the members of our community who participated with their time and/or their donations.

 Later this week, please be on the lookout for an email announcing the re-launch at BJBE of
Mishloach Manot (Purim Baskets). You will have the opportunity to order baskets at $10/per basket to be delivered to local members of our congregation (you can also order baskets for non-members, for pick up in our offices). We are very excited to be bringing this tradition back to BJBE.
 Also, we've launched a new project where we feature on marvelous
greeting cards the artwork of our ECC and JLC Students. See the picture here of our inaugural set of six cards. Please contact
Erica to order a set of these for $15/set; you can pay with cash or check or we can add the price to your BJBE bill. All proceeds go to support the programs and services of BJBE. These are beautiful, designed by our children, and considerably less expensive than cards you may buy in a retail store. We hope you will stop by and buy a set, or two, or three (they also make great gifts)!

Chai Lifeline is an international non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the non-medical needs of seriously ill children, their families and communities. Their mission is to enhance lives through programs and services that offer friendship, good times, great memories, and social and emotional support.

BJBE's Caring Community is a team of volunteers who can act as your extended family when your family needs additional support. Caring Community provides the following services: home delivered meals in times of need, transportation to/from BJBE or a medical appointment, phone support for people who are ill or lonely, senior education and caregiver support, and a virtual food pantry.
