Get Ready for Display Week in Silicon Valley

Display Week returns to Silicon Valley in 2019, with six days of technical programming (May 12-17) and three days of exhibition (May 14-16), at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in sunny California. Due to its proximity to major tech companies such as Apple, Google, and Facebook, among others, the annual show from the Society for Information Display (SID) will attract numerous area tech workers from all parts of the value chain. We know from past shows that the foot traffic in San Jose will be brisk and the attendees highly qualified. In addition, San Jose offers amenities such as complimentary high-speed WiFi (courtesy of the city of San Jose) in the convention center and throughout most of the city, as well as a host of cultural and recreational activities for those times you're not on the show floor.

Exhibit space is selling fast this year! It's not too late to increase your space or add a meeting room. With six months left before the show, 87 percent of the floor is already sold, and only 4 meeting rooms remain. Take a look at the live floor plan to view the remaining space and to see who has recently joined the show. If more space is not what you need, but you'd still like to see more traffic in your booth, don't forget to check out all the sponsorship and promotion
opportunities we have this year in San Jose.

Last year's event featured more than 250 exhibitors, including those in the emerging technology area, the I-Zone. Check out this video for a taste of what Display Week 2018 was like. We have lots of exciting programs for Display Week exhibitors and attendees this year - returning favorites such as Women in Tech, the CEO Forum, Poster Presentations, Coffee Breaks, and the Exhibitors' Forum (which we will be highlighting this year) -- and new events as well. What you'll read about below is just the beginning.

NEW: Exhibit Hall Networking Event on Tuesday Night

SID's annual networking event during the show has been reinvented -- the exhibit hall party is now open to all exhibitors and attendees at no additional charge. From 5 to 6:30 pm on May 14, everyone can mingle right on the show floor, with complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks available courtesy of SID and its event sponsor. This all-new hospitality event is a great way to keep attendees (including those who are there to attend the technical program) on the show floor and in a positive, social frame of mind. We are telling everyone "The floor is yours" that night.

Note: This exclusive sponsorship is now available. Visit our sponsorship gallery and scroll through the available sponsorships and promotions to find the details on the Exhibit Hall Networking Party--Tuesday Night.

Expanded Job Fair

Last year, Display Week initiated a student job fair that was so successful, we've expanded it to include the entire range of display professionals - from those looking for entry-level jobs to those seeking senior positions.

The Student Job Fair at Display Week 2018 (above) was so successful that the event is being
expanded for 2019
.

The Display Week 2019 Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, May 15, from 8:30 am until 3 pm in a designated room in the conference center. If your company is interested in participating in the job fair to meet with prospective hires, email    Shrilaxmi Holla  at SID headquarters. Participation is on a first come, first-served basis.

If you would like to sponsor this event, see our sponsorship gallery or contact Jim Buckley or Sue Chung

New Floor Plan and Exhibitor Information Interface

We have an all-new interface this year - automated processes and a secured site from A2Z that will make exhibiting at Display Week much easier. Visit displayweekexhibition.org for exhibitor information, to make a payment, secure a sponsorship, update your eBooth profile, and view the floor plan. Ask Danielle Rocco if you have questions.

Decision Time: Sponsorships and Promotions

You've already made one great decision: exhibiting at Display Week 2019, the premier global event for the display industry. Make a second great decision: Add a sponsorship or a promotion to your show participation - it will enhance your brand exponentially. Currently available
sponsorships include the opportunity to help underwrite high-profile events and services such as SID's annual awards luncheon, media breakfasts and lunches, and the Display Week 2019 mobile app, to name just a few. Specialty promotions your company can still take advantage of are meter panels, stair graphics, floor decals, and many more.

To find out more about sponsorship and promotion opportunities, see the gallery or contact Jim Buckley or Sue Chung.
