Side Car Pool
Reminder
This is a reminder that we have shifted the side carpool lane forward to the stop sign at the corner of the school. At this point, you will drop your student off, and they will enter the school through the front doors. You will then continue to pull forward, as traffic permits, to exit the school parking lot as you would typically do.

Tech Tips for Students
Technology check
Effective immediately,  all students will need to restart their Surface each day  as we begin to prepare for the April End of Course (EOC) tests.  The technology department will be sending required updates to all Fulton County devices daily, and failure to receive the updates may interfere with the optimal operation of your Surface.

If you are currently experiencing problems with your device, you will need to report the issues to the Help Desk, located in the Student Center.

Fulton County student email
It is critical for all students to check their Fulton County email every day. Daily ann ou ncements, calledCambridge Headlines, are pushed to students through their email account that provides  information on activities, resources, and deadlines. Also, the Cambridge Administration sends important information to all students; including information on security and safety.

To access Student Fulton County email from any device:
1. Open a web browser and go to  portal.office.com
2. Log into Office 365 using:
                              Username: [email protected]
Password: birthdate (mmddyyyy) or their unique password

3. Once logged into Office 365, select the Mail app to view important email from Cambridge Headlines, teachers and staff.
4. The first time you access Office 365 Mail, you will need to select your time zone and save it.

Students should come to the Student Center to see Mrs. Morgan, Mrs. Macleod, or the Help Desk if you are having problems with your Surface or you cannot access your email account.

For detailed instructions, download a step-by-step instruction guide.

Georgia Student Growth Model Reports
Georgia Student Growth Model Reports were distributed to students during advisement on Tuesday, March 13
We are pleased to provide you with your student's Georgia Student Growth Model (GSGM) Report that provides information on your student's academic progress during the 2016-2017 school year. Georgia's growth model has been in place for several years and, as educators, we have been taking advantage of this information to improve your student's educational experience. You have likely already heard about this growth model as it relates to the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) and the Teacher and Leader Keys Effectiveness Systems (TKES and LKES). In short, this report represents yet another way in which Georgia is seeking to improve the level of student achievement across our state.

This report will provide you with Student Growth Percentiles (SGPs). SGPs describe how much academic progress your student made relative to academically-similar students - other students across Georgia with the same achievement history - from one state assessment to the next. This provides you with an apples-to-apples comparison on how much growth your student demonstrated, relative to other students who started in the same place. With this model, all students have the opportunity to demonstrate all levels of growth. This means that we are able to not only identify low-achieving students who are making progress towards becoming proficient, but we are also able to identify high-achieving students who could be challenged further.

There are several resources available to assist you with understanding these new reports. On gsgm.gadoe.org you will find sample Georgia Milestones EOG and EOC student growth reports and a video to assist you with interpreting these reports. There is also an animated introduction to SGP video. Finally, you can view school- and district-level SGP results at gastudentgrowth.gadoe.org

We know that this information may take some time to understand. Our school and teachers look forward to working with you and your student to use this new growth information, in addition to other academic information about your student, to provide an enriching learning experience.
