TABC College Bowl Teams
Continue Their Undefeated Streak
Continuing their tradition of triumph, the mental mavens of both TABC College Bowl teams swept to victory in all their matches in the College Bowl meet on Tuesday, March 13th. Hosted by TABC at Congregation Rinat Yisrael, the Varsity and JV played matches against Frisch, RTMA and Ma'ayanot and were victorious in all of those contests. These matches completed the regular season competitions and both teams finished with perfect 10 and 0 records, continuing their undefeated history again this year. They have now qualified to compete in the Citywide Inter-Yeshiva High School College Bowl League Finals against the other division winners which will take place in New York City near the end of April. Throughout the years TABC  has been a dominant presence in the Citywide competition, and one or both of our teams has been the city-wide champion in eight or nine of the last 10 years. Long-time coach Manny Landau noted how happy and proud he was of his team members. Manny greatly enjoys the intellectual capacity and resourcefulness of his players, as well as their enthusiasm. Our teams are noted throughout the New Jersey division for their sportsmanship, team spirit and good behavior which is a true reflection of the values instilled in them by TABC. GO BRAINSTORM GO!

TABC Represents at AIPAC
Fifteen TABC students, led by Dr. Elliot Prager, participated in TABC's first-ever AIPAC Conference delegation last week in Washington DC. They participated in breakout sessions on a wide variety of Israel-related topics, heard from inspirational keynote speakers and leading Israeli and American politicians, engaged in substantive discussions and conversations and ended their incredible trip with the lobbying of Senator Menendez and Cory Booker. They brought pride and nachat to all of us.
Freshman Retreat
Freshman Retreat was a wonderful opportunity for the TABC freshmen to further solidify their bond as a grade. The program began in TABC with a meaningful speech from Mr. Russell Moskowitz, who  spoke about his experiences escaping the South Tower on 9/11, divine providence, the value of the gift of life and the power of making positive choices and decisions. The grade then headed to H igh Exposure  for climbing and American Ninja Warrior training. From there it was on to the Split Rock Resort  where they chose from basketball, tennis, arcade, bowling, ping pong, pool and the fitness center. The freshmen were joined by their senior mentors  and had dinner together with pre-arranged seating to help facilitate new people meeting each other. The senior mentors lead multimedia discussion sessions, which they had created themselves. The entire group then had  a blast at Aquatopia, an indoor water park. The night concluded with a kumzits with Dr. Prager. The next day, everyone heard a shiur from Rabbi Joel Grossman on the theme of making the right choices.Rabbi Grossman shared some incredible stories from his childhood. The final event was a trip to Funplex  for go-carts, laser tag, arcade, and bumper cars.

Koby Rosenberg '15 of Tzahal
Addresses Y15 Navi Shiur
Rabbi Jachter's Y15 Navi Shiur had the pleasure and honor to hear from Koby Rosenberg '15 who is currently on vacation from his unit in Tzahal.  Koby shared his incredible and extremely varied experiences with serving as a choveish kravi, combat medic.  Kobi described the challenges and the thrills especially at winning the Chayal Mitzayein, the top soldier in his unit.  Kobi described the daunting issues he had to surmount including mastering Ivrit.  Koby worked very hard and persevered and excelled.  Students were enthralled and posed a wide variety of questions including religious issues.  Koby explained that in serving with a unit of yeshiva students, tefillah b'tzibur, Shabbat, kashrut and even some talmud Torah is never a problem.  The Y15 students were very grateful to hear Koby and gained from the example he sets for both spiritual and temporal success.
