Fill our Hearts This New Year
Litany by Jan Springer Rheinheimer
From My Times are in Your Hands, Mennonite Woman Bible Study Guide 2006

Into your presence, Lord Jesus: we come.
For the pain in our lives and in the world: we cry.
For your presence at work in the world: we watch.
For your words to us: we wait.
For your goodness in the midst of struggle: we look
For your presence in our lives: we long for you.

Come, Lord Jesus, fill our hearts. Amen.

Winter 2019 Timbrel

Cynthia Peacock (L) and Twila Gingerich Miller (R) have forged an international friendship while working together when Twila served as Co-Country Representatives for MCC India.

In this article, "An international partnership," the women describe their friendship. "Intercultural relationships are like any other relationships except they are more educational, rewarding and humbling. When your friend is from another culture, you find yourself looking at things from wildly new and different angles.
