Upcoming M&S Webinars

The M&S division successfully held their fall webinar in November, 2018, hosted by Dr. Allen G. Greenwood from Mississippi State University and FlexSim Software Products, Inc. The webinar received positive feedback from the 66 registrants and 33 live attendees. Dr. Greenwood's presentation, titled "The ABCs of Simulation", showed the key role of simulation in improving organizational performance, which provides valuable support to problem-solving and decision-making processes. Specifically, the seminar introduced the application of simulation through three fundamental activities: (1) Analyze system performance via simulation models; (2) Build representations of systems (models) as a basis for analysis; and, (3) Collaborate among project stakeholders to effectively build and analyze simulation models. For more information, please find the archived webinar  click here .

Our upcoming webinar will be presented by Mr. Edward J. Williams, senior simulation analyst, PMC. The webinar entitled: Examples of Simulation Analysis Power and will be held on January 31 at 2:00PM Eastern Time. For registration and more information click here  .

The M&S division welcomes all IISE colleagues to share research and professional practice in the M&S webinar series. Please contract Raed Jaradat if you are interested in hosting a webinar in the M&S Division.
