Do a little Mothers Day and/or Graduation Day shopping at  Bead It! and help support the Emergency Housing Program.  


30% off all sales will be donated to our family shelter to help provide assistance and support to the 8 families and children that we serve.

Our 21st annual Golf Tournament, to benefit the Youth Mentoring Program, will be held on Monday, September 10th at the Concord Country Club.

Do you want to support the Friends Program by getting more involved? Are you interested in seniors having meaningful opportunities to volunteer in their community?
 
If yes, we are looking for volunteers to serve on the RSVP Advisory Committee, which provides input and advise to staff and Board of Trustee members on the RSVP Program.

Do you belong to a neighborhood group, service organization, or workplace giving collaborative?  If so, we would love to be a guest speaker at an upcoming meeting to let others know what the Friends Program does.   Contact us if interested.

Youth Mentoring Orientations

Make a difference in the life of a Merrimack County young person and be a mentor. The first step is attending an orientation that will introduce you to our program and outline what's involved. 

Upcoming orientation:
Wednesday, May 30th
Tuesday, June 26th (Teens Only)
Wednesday, July 19th
Thursday, August 9th

Orientations are from 4:30-7pm (Teen Orientation is 1-3:30pm) at the Friends Program office, 202 North State Street, Concord. 

Step up and step in to help a needy child.

Making A Lasting Impact

During National Volunteer Week, Friends Youth Mentoring Program presented the '17-'18 St. Paul's School Site-based Mentor of the Year Award.  Friends Youth Mentoring Program Mentor, Richard Li, was this year's esteemed recipient.  Read more here
    
RSVP Food Insecurity Project Fundraiser 

In partnership with the Concord Food Co-op and New London Food Co-op, $2 reusable bags are being sold in the stores with $1 from each sale benefiting the RSVP Food Insecurity Project.  

Help the environment and reduce food insecurity at the same time.  Bags only cost $2 each and the fundraiser ends June 30th!

National Senior Health and Fitness Day - May 30th

No need to wait until May 30th to get up and get active.  RSVP Bone Builders classes are free to attend, if you are 55+, and are scheduled 60 times a week!

Emergency Housing Donations

Our family shelter is currently supporting many families with newborns.  If you have items that your children have outgrown that we can put to good use, we would be very grateful.

In addition, we need to replace some kitchen/dining chairs that have seen better days.
