May We Introduce

This month's featured members are the heart of our maintenance team. Joe Bogner in the ATV who manages the maintenance team and his right hand man Tenney Nelson in the front loader. These guys are responsible for the upkeep, improvements and all aspects of maintaining DSRPC. When you see them please tell them thank you.

Shot up Frames - An every day process to repair these.

The operating room - Joe and Tenney repair dozens a week.

The frame room - this is about 5 days worth of frames. :-)

Work Party-September 1, 2018

About 4 hours a month are devoted to members helping the maintenance team with special projects. DSRPC rewards those members who help out with free hot dogs, drinks and after helping out at two work parties you benefit from a reduction in your annual membership fees. See you September 1 at 6:00 AM!

Monthly General Meeting September 6, 2018

A General Membership Meeting is held the first Thursday at 6:30 PM every month in the DSRPC clubhouse. All members are encouraged to attend and participate as the E-Board and members review and discuss just about every subject related to DSRPC. We encourage your attendance.

Max Speed on all DSRPC property is 10 MPH

No Ground Targets allowed at anytime on DSRPC Property.

Please show your drivers license and DSRPC ID at the guard shack.

Upcoming Training Events

NRA Range Safety Officer Training!

Just possibly the most popular NRA class for those wanting to work at DSRPC and be Match Directors.

WHEN/WHERE?

Wednesday September 12, 2018 at the DSRPC Clubhouse. Class starts at 0700.

NRA Basic Pistol Course!

This is the NRA's primary pistol course. All pistol owners should take this in depth course.

WHEN/WHERE?

Saturday October 6. 2018 at the DSRPC Clubhouse. Class starts at 0700 sharp.

Attendance at each of the above classes is limited. Please call the DSRPC gatehouse at 702-376-8145 to reserve your spot with Chief Instructor Rush

Saturday September 1 is Work Party day!!!

What's a work party?

This is a great opportunity to meet Joe and Tenney of our maintenance team.

Those men you need to get to know.

Joe puts together a list of projects requiring a team effort to accomplish. We start early generally finish by 10 AM to beat the heat and then dive into some hot dogs, beverages and great conversations. Remember when you assist at 2 work parties your next annual dues are reduced. Coffee, pastries, dogs, beverages, camaraderie and reduction of your next annual dues of $50 for regular members and $25 for Senior members after you help at 2 work parties........DUDE IT'S A PARTY!!!

Nevada Victory!!!

A Nevada judge is backing the choice by state officials to refrain from implementing a voter-approved universal background check law that never took effect.

Clark County District Court Judge Joe Hardy Jr. characterized the arguments used by the measure’s supporters as “fundamentally flawed,” citing evidence that Sandoval and Laxalt tried in a “real and substantial effort” to work out an agreement over the expanded checks with federal officials.
