GRACE NOTES
October 20 - 27, 2020
This weekend Grace will continue in-person worship opportunities, offering two chances to worship in the Sanctuary, in addition to our online offering.

Click here to see several brief summary points regarding in-person worship.

We appreciate your patience as we revise and update our plan for a return to in-person worship, and your prayerful participation as we continue together in the ministry we share!

What's Happening with Hospitality?
Updates on our 'Equipping Ourselves for Hospitality' Goal for 2020.

+We need more painters! Our painting projects are now underway, and we have 13 rooms to refresh!

Please let Pr. Rachel know if you would like to adopt a room, and she will get you scheduled!

+The Conference Room is painted! We anticipate the carpet arriving this week, and then it will be installed.

+Three more rooms (107, 109, and 113) are currently being painted, and 101 will be up next. This means we'll be able to move to reflooring room 101 as soon as next week!

This is just some of what we're working on; even more excitement is coming!

If you haven't yet volunteered, and would like to be part of these great projects, click here to let the Planning Team know. Thanks to those who have already signed up to help with various projects throughout our building!

Your continued generosity this year has paved the way for us to jump into these projects, knowing we have the financial and faith-filled support we need to make our Hospitality goal a reality! Thank you!

Bishop Eaton shares with us a spiritual exercise using the words of Psalm 46, reminding us to breathe and believe in God's promises.
Thank you for helping me recover from surgery with beautiful cards, thoughts and prayers. It is a comfort to know I can count on my church family with whatever life brings.

We welcome our newest Music Intern, Casey Brauninger!

We invited Casey to introduce herself below:

My name is Casey Brauninger. I am a Senior Music Education major at Winthrop University. I sing and play the flute. I hope to teach at the elementary school level. In my free time, I enjoy watching Disney movies, spending time with friends or family, and going on walks. I am the oldest of six children and love to spend time with my siblings. A hymn I enjoy is, It is Well with My Soul.

Casey will be helping with all areas of our music program here and Grace and we are very glad to have her with us!
Men's Bible Study

Join us for a Men's Book Study on Sunday mornings at 9:30am via Zoom - note the new starting time!

We are studying "Man Alive" by Patrick Morley. Each week we are led by a different member of our group of 'Men-in-Training' and the conversation has been meaningful. Those interested in participating should contact Pr. Gregg to get added to the Realm group where the meeting link is posted. There's always room for one more!
We want YOU to participate in the next virtual hymn sing!

Young or old, if you love hymns as much as we do, send us an email (music@gracerockhill.com) so we can send you more information about how to rehearse with us and add your voice to our sound for the next hymn sing!
Offering Our Gifts to God - Monetary Offering

Part of our worship is offering our gifts to God. While we are apart, it is still faithful to offer our gifts. You can give in several ways:
  • Give online by clicking here (and you have the option to offset the cost of giving online)
  • Set up giving though your bank
  • Mail your offering to the church office.

Thank you for continued faithful giving!
