2018 TECNA CEO Retreat - Success!
 
TECNA Member CEOs descended on Winnipeg, Manitoba last week for the 2018 CEO Retreat. Attendees engaged in interactive and collaborative discussions, brainstorms and ideation sessions. We also heard from guest speaker Mark Chipman, Executive Chairman of the Winnipeg Jets, who took a break before the next round of Stanley Cup Playoffs to share his lessons on leadership.

The Conference
The TECNA Summer Conference is a two-day event focused on sharing of best practices and strategies that help grow your tech council and increase your value to members, sponsors and key stakeholders in your community. This annual conference brings together the leaders and staff of tech councils and ecosystems across North America.

Registration
Registration is now open online. Cost is $300 for all TECNA Member association staff, and $550 for Non-Members. An Early Bird Discount of $100 off your registration cost is available until Friday, June 1 for members and non-members.

Kathy Knight, CEO of ICTAM, was awarded the Manitoba Communicator of the Year Award by the Canadian Public Relations Society Manitoba for her work on DisruptED: The Future of Work conference. This conference was Kathy's brainchild and through her efforts educators, industry and government came together to better understand how technology will affect the future of work and which skills will be essential in a changing workplace.
