Meet our newest launched Venture Teams! In order for a Venture project to be approved, or "launched," a Venture Team must present their idea to a Community Panel comprised of stakeholders, school administrators, political leaders, business leaders, and social entrepreneurs who specialize in areas that pertain to the Venture's premise. Upon the endorsement of a panel, a Venture may be launched and granted seed funding. Learn about the amazing Venture Teams that launched this month!

UWYV's Annual Spring Showcase: March 22, 2018! Spring Showcase is an opportunity for family, friends, community members, and business leaders to witness first-hand the amazing things young people are doing to positively impact the lives of others in North Central Massachusetts. Enjoy an exciting evening filled with fun, food, and inspiration as we celebrate the dedication and accomplishments of these up and coming leaders! Fitchburg High School's Landon Tucker is a Distinguished Finalist! Current Events Club Venture Team leader, Landon Tucker, has been named as one of six Distinguished Finalists in Massachusetts by The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program. Read more about Landon's honor here!

Artful Actions Sky View Middle School Principal and strong proponent of the UWYV program, Tim Blake, took to YouTube last month to ask an important question of his community: "Do adults in Leominster care that kids don't have art classes here?"
