K2 Residential Solutions embarked on our annual fundraising campaign during the Fall of 2018 to help raise money for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation's 10th Annual Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show.
Down syndrome is a condition that has impacted our friends and family. With this in our sights, K2RS has made a commitment to raise funds for this cause.
The Global Down Syndrome Foundation has established the first academic home in the U.S. dedicated to research benefiting people with Down syndrome. The institute now has over 100 scientists focused on life changing research which stands to help six million people with Down syndrome as well as those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, cancer and autoimmune disorders. This center is providing the highest quality of care in the US with patients from 27 states and 7 countries.
Big thanks to our colleagues, subcontractors, vendors and staff who donated to this cause. We raised over $120,000 in 2018 to help Global continue their legacy of education, research, medical care, advocacy and love.
