God has a master plan for your life, and that plan does not change. It's a plan designed specifically for you. It's a plan that God intends for you to live out fully, beginning at the moment of your birth and continuing until the moment of your death. God's plan for you has a purpose, a blueprint for your particular life, a character-development plan, a communication plan, a call to service, a guidance plan, and a blessing plan... Your destiny is to be the person God has created you to be.
I am not a die hard DIY'er, but I do my fair share of DIY projects. I get a great gratification out of making or transforming things myself, when I have time. One thing I have found that is pretty easy to do, is spray paint baskets or anything for that matter. I will show you how to make these colorful baskets. Last year I painted these thrifted baskets for my kids for Easter. And if I had known when they were itty bitty to match the eggs to the basket color, making it fair and easy on mom! What a great idea!!. I will have to remember this for little ones who come for Easter. Sadly, my kids have outgrown Easter Egg hunts. These were so easy to do. The baskets were .99 cents to $2.99 each. Spray paint is fairly inexpensive and goes a long way. What a transformation!! Beautiful and bright.
Last month, I spotted this square picnic basket. I knew right away what I would do with it.
I purchased it for $2.99 at SAFS. (Salvation Army Family Stores)
I wanted to make this into a fun summer patriotic basket.
I spray painted the outside a bright royal blue and the inside lid with chalkboard paint. The existing inside fabric was fine and matched my theme, but I wanted something a little more out of the box or basket persay. So I found this beautiful red and white poppy fabric to replace it. I am really happy the the results.
